Hello hello! Happy (almost) Hump Day! I noticed this dress is still in stock in Dillard’s at Sooner Fashion and online so I wanted to hop on it and share it real quick! It’s so cute and fits very comfortable. Perfect for this hot weather we’re having lately. I am busy running errands and preparing to leave for vacation all week. What are you guys up to this week?

Hey guys! I found the best kimono and wanted to share it with you! I love the print and colors. It’s perfectly flowy. Below I paired it with shorts (because it’s blazing hot here in OKC). But, I think it would also be really cute with distressed jeans or white jeans. I also linked a dupe for this Rebecca Minkoff handbag, it’s less than $30!

Cheers to the weekend, friends! I love this fun floral swing dress. I bought it at Savvy Parke in Purcell. If you check their Instagram, I think they still have this dress available. I’ve linked the sleeveless version below!

Happy Monday! I wanted to fill you all in on something going on in my professional life! Recently I accepted an offer to participate in what my department is calling a “Teacher Plan”. Our hospital’s census typically dips pretty low in the summer, so you have all of these full-time employees with not much work to do (this is tricky because sometimes you can have a small amount of patients, but they have complex and numerous needs). But the thought behind it is, to help with productivity issues, one employee will be off 8 weeks during the summer, returning September 11th. I eagerly volunteered! I keep my title, position, benefits, etc., but I get some much needed time away from work. Being a social worker is so emotionally rewarding but also extremely exhausting. I thought this teacher plan would be the perfect way to practice some self-care. I’m so excited to have some time off. Once upon a time I considered becoming a teacher (not because I have a passion for teaching) but just so I could get the summer off. Lol. I plan to relax, take a couple of trips, and become more diligent in posting on my blog and Instagram. I can’t wait to see what this little break from work has in store! I’ll keep you guys posted!
Also, I’m sharing this dress below! I bought mine at Cayman’s in Norman, OK. But it’s also available online.

Hey friends! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We celebrated at the OKC Dodgers vs Iowa Cubs baseball game. The weather was absolutely perfect. It’s typically in the 100’s this time of year and yesterday the high way 82. Perfect baseball weather! I wore these shoes to the game and they are so comfortable. I have been eyeballing these since April but they were sold out everywhere. Just recently they came back in stock at Nordstrom and Dillard’s. They’re the perfect summer sandal! I feel they run true to size, possibly a touch on the small side. They’re linked below.
