I recently did a poll on Instagram asking if you guys want to see more Thanksgiving outfit ideas. Everyone who voted said yes, so I’m going to share several outfit options here and on Instagram throughout the next week! I like to be very comfortable on Thanksgiving, so an oversized sweater and leggings are pretty much my ideal outfit. Add a scarf or statement jewelry if you want to spice things up a bit. This sweater is the perfect length for leggings and it’s on sale for $53. Links below!

You guys, Thanksgiving is so close I can taste it. Pumpkin pie and all you can eat turkey are calling my name. With the holidays approaching, I wanted to post some outfit inspo for you guys. Personally, I’m the kind of gal that wears leggings and oversized sweaters to Thanksgiving meals, but I know some of you folks are more formal. This outfit would be great for a nicer Thanksgiving dinner. I also think this would be a great look for family photos or fall engagement photos. I love this cognac colored skirt, but it also comes in a wine color that is just gorgeous! Plus, suede is very on trend for fall. The best part about it, it’s super affordable. I’ve linked everything below!

Pumpkin season is quickly coming to an end. It feels like it just started. So sad! One thing that is always on my bucket list for fall is a trip to the pumpkin patch. This year we went to Bakers Acres in Tishomingo. It’s great for kiddos but also makes for a perfect date night! Outfit details linked below.

When we travel to Tish, we usually detour through one of the nearby towns for lunch or dinner. This trip we decided to stop at The Rusty Nail Winery in Sulphur, OK. They have delicious wine and great appetizers. Definitely a must if you’re traveling through Southern OK!
Hey friends! Happy Tuesday. Yesterday we celebrated Billy’s 27th birthday! I cannot believe we are so old. When I was a teenager, I thought I would have kids and a big house by 26. But now, I’m just trying to take things day by day. We’re extremely happy about where we are in life right now. We’ve both been employed at jobs we love for over a year. Billy works as a relationship banker at First United Bank and I’m a social worker at Norman Regional Hospital. We’re very happy with where our careers are. I’m under supervision for my clinical license and love my mentor/supervisor Whitney. We have a cute little home in Norman with our fur babes. Life is good. I couldn’t ask for anything more. We are so thankful for our health, our family and one another.
Billy is an easy guy to please. I took him to Saltgrass for dinner (his preference). We came home and he watched football on TV. Pretty much his idea of a perfect night. Good steak and football, who can blame the guy? I’ve linked the outfit I wore to our date down below. This blush/rose top is flowy perfection. I definitely recommend sizing once size down. It’s originally $140 and on sale for $98!

Hi friends! A few weeks ago I shared my favorite summer sandals. They're a great Steve Madden nude slide sandal, find that post here. Well, as great as they are, I've found something even better! A more affordable dupe! These are seriously close to identical. The Steve Madden pair cost me $70, and the dupe pair are available at Target for $24.99! I've linked them below. They also come in black!

Hi loves! I wanted to share this super cute top. I’ve loved the lace-up neck trend since spring. I’m so happy they’re still in this fall. I ordered this pretty online from Show Me Your Mumu.

Folks, sandal season is officially upon us! It’s pretty exciting because sandals are awesome. I’ve recently found a pretty amazing pair (or four) that I’m in love with. But one in particular has quickly become a favorite of mine. There are a few reasons for this. The main reason is because they are (almost) an exact replica of the Jack Rogers ‘Lauren’ sandal, but for a fraction of the cost. I found them at Bella Marie Boutique. I ordered the white pair and gold pair in a 9, my usual size, got them in and they were too small. I contacted the boutique, they let me send them back free of charge, and sent two more in a size 10, that fit like a dream. They get an A+ for customer service. With that being said, if you have narrow feet, you could probably still wear your normal size, however, I have wide feet. So if you do too, I suggest going up a whole size. I’ve linked the Jack Rogers pair, along with the look-alikes from Bella Marie Boutique, which are over $100 cheaper. So whether you’re looking to spurge, or looking to save, these are a great summer go to. I can’t brag on them enough. I have a huge problem with finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet, and I haven’t had any trouble with these yet. P.S. if you are a Southern Oklahoma gal, last time I check, Pink Door Boutique also had the look-alikes in stock!
Here are the original Jack Rogers pair.
Jack Rogers $127.95
And the adorable affordable look-alikes.
Bella Marie Boutique $19.80
So just a disclaimer, I can’t compare the two on comfort or durability, because I don’t own an actual pair of Jack Rogers. Mainly because, I’ve never been super crazy about them, in relation to their price. I think they’re cute, but I personally don’t feel I would get enough wear out of them, to justify paying $130 for them. So I’ve found a solution, that I love and hope you will too.
